Hi, i illustrate all the cool illustrations and animations you see on social media. I am not known for many words, but I do believe that we can see lots of queernes in nature and for that have to see that as a natural phenomena. Of to more colorful birds.
What we do.
Birbs&Borbs opened its online presence in September 2025. It was lovingly pieced together by Lucia Krohn and Anselm Herbster, two queer, nature-loving illustrators/birders who met online in Münster, Germany. What started with a doodle of funny little birbs quickly turned into something bigger: a world of feathered characters, stories, and designs that somehow grew wings of their own.
At Birbs&Borbs, we celebrate birds in all their forms (round borbs and silly little birbs) and translate that joy into nature-inspired accessories and art. Our goal is to create things that feel like carrying a tiny piece of the forest, the park, or your favorite balcony birb with you.
But more than just designs, Birbs&Borbs is about community: a queer-friendly, cozy little corner of the internet where bird people can laugh, share, and connect. As our nest grows, we dream of expanding into collaborations, events, and maybe even projects that give back to nature and bird conservation.
Who’s Birb and who’s Borb? Well… that’s still up for debate.
